An easy way to spice up your outfit is with your makeup! It can really elevate your look and it also pops in pictures. I love coordinating my makeup to my outfit. It adds an interesting element to my look. There’s so many ways to change up your makeup to add to your outfit, so here’s just 5 ways that I have before! : )
Glossy Lids
A cool way to spice things up is to do a glossy lid eye look. It’s very editorial and it adds edge to your look. Just be sure that you’re using an eye safe gloss!
Matchy Matchy
A good way to make your outfit pop is to incorporate the colors in your outfit into into your makeup. You can even use it to tie in colors from your outfit and emphasize them. For example in the picture below, I wanted to bring out the fluorescent pink color in my head scarf so I did my eye makeup the same color
Allover Shimmer
A really fun way to do your makeup is to just use one shimmer color and really concentrate it on your lid. It really packs a punch in picture. Personally I like doing this with purple because it compliments my eye color and makes them pop. Here’s two examples of me doing it.
Graphic Liner
Graphic liner is probably one of the easiest ways to add some edge to your look. It’s minimal, it’s clean, and it’s cool.
Bling It Up B*tch
Something I recently did for the first time was add rhinestones to my makeup and can I just say it’s the best thing ever! They look so sick and it makes your makeup look way better. I did this for my Halloween look as a space cowboy (which btw Kacey Musgraves liked my Insta pic of me in it so I’m kind of a bid deal but it’s whatevs) and it really set it off.
